Our farm was settled in the early 1800s. It is a 100 acre farm of which about 70 acres are agricultural crop land managed by a local farmer. Crops rotate between wheat, corn and soy. The remaining land is a mixture of grass, trees and forest.
There is an original stone main house dating from the 1860s and known as the Storey House named after the Scottish settlers. There is a large barn dating from the 1980s and a new guest house built in 2018.
Our farm is located in Meaford, Ontario, on top of a hill called Scotch Mountain, offering views of the Niagara Escarpment, Georgian Bay and rolling countryside.
